The structure of this traditional house is basically made from wood and thatched roofs. In general, it can be identified significantly through the uniqueness of the stone-made stairs, patterned tiles and decorated with flora and faunas designs or in geometrically . The house is divided into several parts; foyer, main house, a hose, a kitchen, shelf, attic and a bench. Explanations related to the main parts contained in Rumah Melayu Melaka is as follows:
a. Porch or balcony (the space before entering the interior of the house , it is usually a place for homeowners or people sitting, chatting, or resting in the afternoon).
b. Rumah Ibu ( part of a large space and usually contain some of the rooms).

d. Kitchen appliances (a place to cook and dine in for lunch or dinner)
e . Platform (space for the work of preparing and cooking and storage of necessary kitchen goods for cooking ) .
