Buiding Materials.
As this traditional house is one of the earliest house in Malaysia, it is not quite weird if the old people using renewable natural materials such as wood and bamboo and the dwellings are often constructed without using metals such as nails. Instead, pre-cut holes and grooves are used to meet the elements of wood into one another, effectively making prefabricated houses.

Although the nail has been created and the houses are then used minimally to non-structural elements ( eg , windows or panels ), flexibility is a benefit structure that prevents tacking. Without nails , a wooden house can be demolished and rebuilt in a new location. Most of the ancient Malay Southeast Asia maintain a culture of environmental self- regeneration.
